In February of 2023, I published a children's coloring book in collaboration with Yula Putri, the illustrator. This coloring book features 40 different animals. Kids can color some of their favorites, like tigers and sharks, but also be introduced to less common animals, such as the nautilus or skink. Each illustration is also accompanied with letters to color that spell out of the name of the animal being shown.

In April of 2019, I published a book on Islamic history titled Mahdi. The Mahdi is a messianic figure that, not unlike the Jesus of Christianity, is supposed to return in a time of desperate need with the objective of restoring peace and punishing sinners. It is said that only Allah knows his true identity, and so the Mahdi has come and gone under many names. Mahdi claimants have much to gain, but if they die before peace is restored, they're often seen as a false prophet. Just as there are branches to Christianity, there are branches to Islam; many of which were founded by the Mahdi claimants of history.

Mahdi: The Guided One; History & Controversy, is a study of the Mahdi's role and history in Islam, as well as a study of individuals that have claimed to be him.

ABOUT ME

I've always had an interest in literature, even as a child, so it's probably no surprise that I grew up to be an author. History is full of brilliant minds, beautiful creatures, and countless mysteries, all of which I enjoy writing about.

Alongside my interest in history is an interest in theology, the study of religion. Sacred texts, deities, mythical creatures, and places of worship are all so intriguing to me. I didn't grow up going to church or reading the bible. Religion wasn't frowned upon in my household; it just didn't come up in conversation. When I eventually picked up an interest in theology, it came from a place of wanting to understand religious differences, not out of an interest in practicing one, and that's continued to be the case even now. I've studied Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Greek mythology, i.e., all the household names, but then I've also studied Thelema, Shamanism, Ahmadiyya, and other lesser-known names. They all intrigue me.

Since February of 2016, I've written hundreds of articles, and going forward; I will write hundreds more. One of the most surprising questions I get asked is, 'Are you going to write another book?' because I couldn't imagine not writing another one.
